I must confess that I feel like a Monster….

Alright so without further ado, I would like to announce the winners of our Charity contest. Now, prizes aside, tonight I was feeling so… lost for inspiration. One of those nights you have as a blogger where nothing just seems to come together – then I decided to take a trip to the Xiasumi School Festival and fell in love with the horror club!! I picked up the incredibly sexy Spoopy Nurse outfit and couldn’t help but grab this uber creepy tattoo from antielle while I was there.

The best part? Well I couldn’t wait to try these out, so I figured while I was there, why not try my new finds on and see if I could find a little nook to do some posing in. That’s when the fun started…. I didn’t realise it at first, but my ‘unusual’ appearance startled a few passers by into watching me pose – and by the time I realised they were watching me, I’d already been wriggling and writhing all demon like all over the floor for about half hour haha. After that, I decided to just roam the halls in my outfit and get into the haunted spirit of it all, just for kicks! Then well, I decided to just hang around for a while 😉

TMP and why only the best friends will tie you up!

Alright I’m guilty, I’ve been shopping at the Fresh (By Romp) event again, and this time I’ve come home with a rack! Now before you get any wild ideas, odds are I’ll most likely only ever use this for photography purposes (given my lack of submissive nature haha), but the poses on this thing are so raunchy that I had to bribe my good friend and Designer of ..::ILLI::.. Alphonse, to come and pose with me on it ;). (Note, I’m using an actual pose on the rack, he’s not because umm, this is a family blog… hehehe). Anyway, thanks for the ‘support’ Alphonse! 😉

Anyway, if this is your cup of tea, do yourself a favour and jump over to the Fresh Event and take a look at the (aptly named) ‘Gates of Hell’ Rack by N4RS.

Alrighty now back to Mesh Bodies! This is the first shoot I’ve done with both the male and female versions of TMP, and I have to say, as much as their systems drive me insane, they do make two great bodies – if only it weren’t so complicated!! Only yesterday I was helping a poor girl who’d bought the body months ago, but never been able to work out how to use it!! Between Shopping HUDS, Style HUDS and money exchanges, I think TMP are doing themselves such a huge disservice by being so closed off and user unfriendly.

I’ve pondered doing a tutorial, a ‘how to’ for TMP, and feel free to comment if you think I’m wrong, but it takes me days to write these tutorials, photograph them and put them together… it’s something that I do because I wish I’d had them handy when I first started using mesh bodies (and I just plain like to help!), but I’m hesitant to do the week or two of work that would be a ‘how to’ for TMP when really, I wouldn’t recommend their body to a beginner… what are you thoughts? To write or not to write, comment with your thoughts!

TMP, Maitreya, Sexy Skins and Gorgeous Nails ;)

Well mesh body lovers, it looks like TMP isn’t going to be added to my Mesh Body Reviews – I’ve finally heard back from them, and unfortunately they’re not looking for bloggers and as such won’t give me a review copy. It’s a shame, I would have loved to compare it with all the others I’ve reviewed to see how it stacks up, but blogging is (and many don’t know this) an expensive hobby, and this girl needs a job before she can drop that much money on a body 😉

Now I know a few of you have said that I should review the free body, which is true, and I do have a copy of the free body – but one thing I’ve learnt about mesh bodies is that realistically, the look of the mesh body is only 50% of the product. The other 50% is functionality. How many clothing layers does it have? What glitching occurs when using multiple layers? What clothing options are available to me – are they my taste? All of these questions are a big part of why I wear each body for so long. In the first days of infatuation with a new body, it’s easy to declare it the best thing since mesh boobs – but after a few days, what faults have I discovered? What do I love? What do I hate? All of this forms part of the ‘review’ process to me, so unfortunately for now TMP is a no-go for Mesh Body Addicts!

On to brighter news though – I’m loving my Maitreya mesh body at the moment, and what’s even better is that it seems that the Maitreya nails have INDIVIDUAL UV MAPS!!! I can almost hear you saying “Wha….?” but what that means is, different styles can be created for each nail!!!! The new anyBODY event is on, and if you haven’t hit it yet you are MISSING OUT! My favourite from this one comes from AviCandy. The ‘it’s a wrap’ outfit comes with appliers for Omega plus many others, and includes these adorable (and naughty) bows which can be removed by other people (or licked, or tugged, or pulled) by clicking on them. Don’t worry though, a few people clicked mine and I was easily able to keep my outfit on by declining their flattering (but untimely) requests hehe.
